Willow Tree House has been open as a guest house / B&B, after being completely and sympathetically refurbished. Externally, the house is as it was some 270 years ago, internally it has been completely redesigned whilst we have retained it's original features, character and charm.
All of our 6 luxury bedrooms are en-suite, with power shower cubicles and luxury toiletries. We have 4 double bedrooms, 1 four-poster bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. We also provide a travel cot or an extra single bed in some of the rooms if required.
The bedrooms are named after local villages. Appledore, Bodiam, Iden, Fairlight, Playden and Winchelsea, all of which are no more than a 20 minute drive away. Bodiam, along with its Castle is also near to Great Dixter Gardens, which provides daily gardening courses throughout the year for any keen gardeners. We would advise pre-booking to avoid disappointment.
As you would expect from a high quality guest accommodation, each room has been individually furnished to the highest standards, including all the usual items such as Free-view TV, courtesy tray and Wi-Fi. We also provide hairdryers and hair-straighteners. Iron and ironing board are available on request, or we are more than happy to do your ironing for you – but not by the bag load!
We offer a wide range of breakfast items including fresh fruit, cereal, full English breakfast and homemade preserves. We also cater for vegetarians. Please see the Full Breakfast Menu by clicking on the icon. All our produce is sourced locally.
You may like to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or night-cap from our honesty bar, which may be taken in our guest lounge or outside in our private walled garden.
Willow Tree House is only a few minutes walk to Rye town centre, which has a wide variety of restaurants, antique shops, pubs and gift shops. We also have the added advantage of ample free parking on our private driveway.
